Shri Hanuman Jayanti Maha-Utsav and on the occasion Maha-Puja of Shri Satya-Narayana
Every year since the establishment of the temple, the Maha-Utsava of Hanuman Jayanti and the Maha-Puja of Shri Satya-Narayana are organized on the occasion. Every year on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the temple is beautifully decorated. Until the ban on the use of thermocol, every year for two months in advance, the temple members and workers were busy working on the decorative mandap manually. After the mandap was erected, it was illuminated with attractive lighting. As thermocol is currently banned, various other materials are used to make decorative pavilions. Every year the appearance is different and very striking. On Hanuman Jayanti, early in the morning on the birth-mohurta of Hanumanta, the devotional program of ritual abhisheka and birth celebration is performed by Brahmins. Immediately after that, worshiping the original place of Lord Hanumanta in the Madhu-Park Udyan is done by placing a Vida and coconut and also offering flowers. And there is an emphasis on keeping everyone happy. After that, the procession palanquin is decorated by the members. At exactly 11 am, the deity is placed in a palanquin and taken for two circumambulation of the Madhu-Park. After that the Maha-Pooja of Shri Satya-Narayana begins usually between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. When the puja is over around 7 pm, aarti is again performed in the spirit of Shri Satya Narayana and Shri Hanumanta. Then there is a melodious program of mesmerizing bhajans usually around 10 o'clock. Apart from that, movies were also shown on the screen earlier in the night. But for some years now, the cinema is not showing due to government time restrictions. On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, syrup is also distributed to the devotees standing in queues.
